Chronixx looks forward to the love from Caribbean audiences

Reggae singer, Chronixx is returning to the Jamaican stage to perform for the first time in over a year as a part of his Chronology Caribbean tour which will see him performing in Trinidad, Grenada and Jamaica between November and December 2017.

The Jamaican leg of The Chronology Tour; Chronixx Live in Jamaica  will be the last two shows on the Caribbean tour and will see him back on the local scene with shows on Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 2.

The Caribbean leg of the Chronology tour will take place after a massive 39-cities-tour across North America which began in March this year after the Friday, July 7 release of his debut album, Chronology.

According to Chronixx, Jamaicans will be treated to great performances after a long wait for his return to the local stages. “We will be preparing a set to remember for our local fans because it has been a while since we were able to give them a show and so I want bring home what I have been touring with, it is always a joy to perform on the rock” he said.

The artiste has embarked on the Powernomics North American tour 17-city run across the US with Grammy winning R&B and Hip Hop superstars with Nas and Lauryn Hill. To the delight of many, Chronixx has been delivering the opening set, performing singles from his album Chronology such as the hip hop leaning Black is Beautiful, his EDM styled I Can, reggae singles Skanking Sweet, Smile Jamaica’ and dancehall flavored hit Likes, and Spanish Town Rockin’ and his Major Lazer collaboration Blaze Up The Fire.

Fans can look forward to more information on the third staging of Chronology in Jamaica.

Shenseea Rolling into stardom

Dancehall artiste Shenseea released a new single Rolling which features internationally acclaimed, Grammy Award winning, Dancehall artiste Sean Paul. Released on Friday, September 8, the track is produced by Romeich Entertainment and is growing in popularity having premiered at #145 on iTunes Reggae Chart on which it is now at #75 with the lyric video having over 80,000 views on Youtube only five days after its upload.

Shenseea launched into September with her debut North American tour, where she kicked things off at Reggae Fest 2017 on Friday, September 1 in Orlando Florida. There, she shared the stage with Jamaican superstar Shaggy to the delight of patrons. The tour continued onSaturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3 in New York. On Monday, September 4, Shenseea hit the Parkway for the Labor Day West Indian Day parade with international dancehall artiste Sean Paul, as well as Dancehall’s very own chain-saw-man Chi-Ching Ching and party animal Charly Blacks.

The young artiste is excited to be working with Sean Paul and has been involved with several of his projects, having performed with him at the Pennysaver Amphitheater Concert, in Farmingville in New York.

Rolling shows off Shenseea and Sean Paul going line for line over a bass heavy, but catchy dancehall beat. The song features hard hitting lyrics with both man and woman boasting of their prowess in the intimate art of dancing.  Fans can expect an official video to be released soon.

Proving her diversity as an artiste, Shenseea’s singles, numerous collaborations and samples across music-genres has left her an undeniable force in the Dancehall space. Currently promoting her singles Wine, Rolling featuring Sean Paul, and Baddish featuring Trinidadian artiste Nailah Blackman, Shenseea has been busy with appearances and multiple tours. 

Fresh off the heels of her high energy performance at Dream Weekend, the 20-year-old singjay merely had time to board her flight for her maiden journey to London, as part of her European tour alongside Dancehall artiste Dexta Daps. Connecting with fans in Europe from Friday, August 11 through to Sunday, August 27, Shenseea delivered hits including LoodiReverse, and Wine and he Jiggle Jiggle deejay is energised by the positive reception in the international markets.

“All the shows had a good turnout, some, much more than I expected. The experience has been priceless. I am forever grateful to my team for putting me out there and to my fans who continue to show me a love that I could only dream of before now,” Shenseea expressed.

The fast-rising artiste is gaining love from international media houses, copping increased rotation and interviews on two of the biggest urban stations in New York City, Hot 97.1 with Bobby Konders and Power 105.1 with DJ Norrie.

There are no signs of slowing down as the artiste has an upcoming tour of the French Caribbean, with recording French artiste Stoney.
