The Jambe-An Riddim produced by FAME FM Ace DJ, Kurt Riley will be featured as part of the 2016 Lotto Plus International Soca Monarch competition in Trinidad & Tobago.
The song Non Stop by T&T soca artiste Pternsky has been entered in the competition, an integral part of the carnival season which is heading into its semi-finals stage on Sunday, Janaury 17. The song is featured on the Jambe-An Riddim released in 2015 and being distributed worldwide by VPal Music.
“We thought that the riddim was very nice in terms of vibes, the melody, the instruments and the vibes it had”, states Keon Serrette, Pternsky’s manager & executive producer.
The Riddim also features the likes of Charly Blacks with his hit single Gal You A Party Animal, for which the video has released up close to 30 million views on YouTube. Dancehall singjay Movado is also on the Riddim with his hit track Goodbye to My Haters, a dancehall favorite at events.
“I’m very grateful for the response the Riddim has been getting. I really appreciate all the supporters especially the DJs around the world who has been playing it. It still has a far way to go so let’s do it one play at a time,” Kurt explains.
Since its release the Riddim has been getting rave reviews and creating waves in Columbia, Paraguay, and Chile and having a massive buzz in Europe and as far as Israel.
Jambe-An Riddim is expected to continue to move ahead this soca season as tracks such as Born to Wine by Shurwayne Winchester, Don’t Stop Wine by Camar and I Won’t Stop by Timeka Marshall are expected to be crowd favorites among soca enthusiasts.
Son of legendary producer Winston Riley, Kurt Riley eyes more productions on the horizon for 2016. Already in the works is The Journey Riddim which features Christopher Martin, Feluke and Richie Spice.
