Bermudian Reggae sensation Magma, will be giving fans a taste of his musical catalogue when he performs at the Red Bones Blues Café on . The dynamic Reggae vocalist will perform alongside Kiddus I, Prince Alla and Ruffi-Ann in what is expected to be a classic Roots Reggae showcase.
Magma’s upcoming performance comes on the cusp of the much anticipated release of his latest album The Mission, produced by himself, Early ‘Chinnah’ Smith of the Inna De Yaad Band and Donovan Joseph. Magma’s musical flow has strengthened tremendously with recent releases in Japan including Love Life, Fruitful Relations and Nothing Can Come Between featuring Ruffi-Ann which has been released by Japanese label Dubstore Records.
"This marks the 13th year since I have been in Jamaica on a musical journey. I was inspired by Rastafari and great Reggae artistes including Dennis Brown, Half Pint, Bob Marley whose music really inspires my own craft. With this upcoming album I really want to connect with fans and the performance is an effort to do that as the Red Bones Café provides more of an intimate setting where the music can be enjoyed,” said Magma.
Born Adam Mayo in the Eastern Caribbean island of Bermuda, Magma journeyed to Jamaica, the home of Reggae to pursue his craft. The Reggae crooner has performed on the major festivals in Jamaica including Reggae Sumfest and Sting. RecentlyMagma was given raved reviews for his performance at Sizzla’s birthday bash when he wowed the crowd with his versatile lyrics and authentic Roots sound.
The Red Bones Blues Café will be ignited as Magma flows through with roots reggae sounds on performing alongside veterans Prince Alla and Kiddus I and female reggae sensation Ruffi-Ann. The Inna De Yaad band will also be on showcase as the backing band during the live performances.
