Bailando Hit Fox’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

International Dancehall artiste Sean Paul performed on the Season Finale of Fox’s hit TV Show, So You Think You Can Dance alongside Latin Pop star, Enrique Iglesias earlier this week. The two international stars continue to promote their hit collaboration, Bailando from Iglesias’ recent Sex and Love album.

Bailando has become the biggest commercially successful song off Iglesias’ Sex and Love album as well as the highest charting song from the album on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States at #12. The single is now the highest charting Spanish single in history after being the first such to break into the top 20 and also has the record for the highest peaking Spanish single on the Canadian Billboard Charts at #16. The official video was also launched on June, 13th and rapidly racked up over 30 million views on Youtube.

Since its release, the English version of Bailando, which features Sean Paul catapulted, to #1 on the iTunes top 100 Latin charts ahead of the Spanish version which is at #2. Sex and Love is also the number one Latin Pop Album on the iTunes Top 100 Album charts.

The Grammy-Award winning Deejay has made several appearances so far with the Latin pop star to perform the hit track for live TV audiences in North America on America’s Got Talent, Good Morning America as well as the Macy’s 4th of July celebrations.

So You Think You Can Dance is a televised dance show which is shown on Fox, created by American Idol producers Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe and premiered on July 20, 2005. Now in its 11th season the show is one of the top-rated television shows. The show features dancers and dance groups from several genres; it then shows from their auditions to live performances before a winner is selected.
