Bailando ft. Sean Paul tops charts and Breaks Records worldwide


International star, Sean Paul has added another #1 to Enrique Iglesias’ Bailando chart catalogue. The English version of the single currently holds the coveted position on the iTunes Latin music top 100 chart. Bailando has been topping charts across Europe and the Americas. To date the song has hit #1 on various charts in 35 countries including Belgium, Finland, Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Spain, and the Latin based charts in the United States, retaining the top spot for an impressive 14 weeks.

Sean Paul who through his collaborations is known for propelling singles to #1 on charts worldwide including UK girl group The Saturdays’ What About Us single is featured on the English version of the song which has gained popularity locally and internationally. The official video was also launched on June, 13 and rapidly racked up well over 27 million views on Youtube. The video for Bailando featuring Sean Paul was shot in Santo Domingo, the exact location as the Spanish version to portray the exact message of the song to Spanish and English speaking fans worldwide.

Bailando has set a record of becoming the biggest commercially successful song off of Iglesias’ recent Sex and Love as well as the highest charting song from the album on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States at #12. The single is now the highest charting Spanish single in history after being the first such to break into the top 20 and also has the record for the highest peaking Spanish single on the Canadian Billboard Charts at 21.

Sean Paul has made several appearances with the Latin pop star to perform the hit track for live TV audiences in North America on America’s Got Talent, Good Morning America as well as the Macy’s 4th of July celebrations.

Sean Paul with his dynamic talent and creative persona has embarked on a mission to broaden his musical range as he continues to expand his diverse musical offerings which now include a strong Latin American feel.
