Sean Paul set for Trinidad

Multi platinum, multi Grammy Award winning Jamaican superstar Sean Paul performs at the Jean Pierre Complex in Port of Spain along with Shaggy and Jay Sean on Saturday, April 27.

The Jamaican artiste who has created history by becoming the first Jamaican artiste to have over 20 singles in the top 10 position on the UK Billboard chart is set to headline the show that is dubbed to be the first explosive concert event in 2013. Sean Paul performs his usual energetic set with full band and dancers on the show also featuring fellow Jamaican artiste Shaggy and British singer Jay Sean.

The artiste is looking forward to performing in Trinidad at the show presented by International Concert Events Limited after his last performance almost five years ago.

“The Caribbean in general is my home base; I enjoy performing for my Caribbean fans as I can go deeper in my songs because they know what I am saying and understand my accent.” Sean said

Sean Paul while laying his claim on the entertainment scene worldwide is busy working on his sixth studio album while preparing for his upcoming Tomahawk Technique tour in May. The artiste drops the first single for his upcoming album in May. The album contains a diverse mix of genres but features his signature dancehall style. The album also sees the artiste collaborating with international stars such as Juicy J and 2 Chainz to name a few.

Just recently, Sean Paul in collaboration with Beenie Man, released the video for the hit single Greatest Gallis. The video has gained over 164,000 views to date since its release on Worldstarhiphop on April 14. The Greatest Gallis track was released in January on the Sneak Preview Riddim produced by Claims Records and Gutty Bling Productions. This is the second collaboration between the two artistes. Boss Man released in 2003 saw the artistes working together with Lady Saw under the direction of Jeremy Rall.
The song has been hitting the airwaves locally and internationally and is featured in the top 20 position of the Hot 102 FM dancehall charts.
