Kingston Jamaica: Heineken Good Times the most celebrated oldies party in Jamaica have been postponed. The event was scheduled to take place at the Mas Camp Village on Saturday May 29, after completing good runs in Grenada and New York. Despite high anticipations of party fans, the Quorum, organizers of the event postponed the event, due to the recent instability in public order in the corporate area and its surroundings.
“We thank our patrons for their continued support over the years, but we also have to bear their safety in mind,” explained Jerome Hamilton of The Quorum. “We hope that they remain safe in this period, and we will see them at the next Good Times,” he said.
Heineken Good Times dubbed ‘Shake It Up Tonight,’ was set to feature the traditional exhilarating flow of great music from the turntables, in addition to the recreation of Fun For All, a popular game shop which dominated the 1980s.
Patrons, who have already bought pre-sold tickets, may keep those tickets as they are valid for the next Good Times party at a date to be announced.
Good Times is Jamaica's premier and oldest party series, held in Kingston, Ocho Rios and Negril each year. It draws together thousands of loyal fans from across all social strata in Jamaica, and also has robust support from overseas visitors.
