Sean Paul gets emotional with Nonhle on O-Access

Hot-on-the-heels of episode one of O Access featuring an exclusive interview with Keri Hilson comes an intimate and intensely personal look at the life and music of Sean Paul.

The episode, which aired on Tuesday November 24,O Access’s Sean Paul episode sees Nonhle visit Kingston, Jamaica with the man who has undoubtedly played a huge role in spreading the dancehall gospel around the world.

Born Sean Paul Henriques, the multi-platinum-seller and award-winner gets emotional when talking about his early life growing up in Kingston, with his big family of well-known swimmers and artistes.

Nonhle also gets Sean Paul to comment on the links between Jamaican and African artistes – giving a platform for his belief that the two should work more closely and 'come together as one' in creating music; something that was reinforced by Sean Paul’s South African tour as well as his contact with artistes like 2Face Idibia.
