Romain Virgo blasts Murderers

Romain Virgo's new single Murderer, released only a few weeks ago, is already on its way to becoming a major hit.

The song, which speaks out against crimes committed against children, is yet another feather in the cap of the young artiste/songwriter.

He says, "This is a topic that means a lot to me because I am a young person and I live in a country where a day doesn't pass without a child going missing or turning up dead. Or reading the papers and seeing a case about a child being molested. As a nation, we need to speak up and stand up for our children and this is my way of doing it."

In addition to Murderer, Virgo's single Cyaan Sleep is still doing well, both locally and internationally.I n fact, it was recently moved up to the number2 spot onSuriname's 96.3FM-Radio SRS's charts.

Virgo says, "It's always surprising to me when I have never been to some of these places but my songs are there and the people love them so much. It just proves music has no boundaries and that at all times we need to do great music and put our all into it because you never know where it leads and who will hear it."
