Richie Stephens wants you to "Come To Jamaica"

Veteran Reggae singer Richie Stephens is easily recognized as the man with Jamaica's Golden voice. A classic performer who has contributed much to the development of Reggae music, and has a powerful sensuality that appeals to audiences all over the world.

On Saturday August 2, Richie Stephens was in South Florida to launch his latest album, Come To Jamaica. Richie shared with a group of people prior to his performance that his motivation for producing this album was because of all the good things that`were happening in Jamaica.  He acknowledged that Jamaica does have its issues but so does every other country. "It is our responsibility to share Jamaica in a positive light".

Richie performed several hits from his album that had the crowd rocking and begging for more at the One Love One Family - Jamaica's 46th Year of Independence Fete, presented by Princess PM Productions and Lyme Lyte Entertainment. 
Come To Jamaica offers all genres of Jamaican music from Ska, Reggae, Mento, Dancehall, and Folk. The album features legendary icon, Toots Hibbert, international star Maxi Priest, Copper Cat and his mother Carmen.Come To Jamaica celebrates Jamaica and focuses on the positive aspects of Jamaican life. 

The video to the single, Come To Jamaica can be seen on Air Jamaica's Island Sytlee along with an interview with Richie Stephens and Island Stylee host, Rachel.

The soon to be released album will be distributed by VP Records and has received the endorsement of Air Jamaica and the Jamaica Tourist Board and is destined to be a collector's item.
