With their recent success of the May Daze party series that was held every Friday in May of this year, the promoters from Fusion:Beatz promotions has joined forces with Hunt's products and Kingston Beer to host the first ever Hunt's Summer CookOut. The event slated to happen on Sunday, August 17, will see the exodus of food-lovers and party goers flocking to the 29 Salisbury Avenue venue in Barbican, for a taste of the food, flex and vibes promised by the promoters. "It's an event for friends" said promoter and CEO of EntertainmentJade.com, Stephen Willie, "Now that summer is winding down, we wanted to provide an event where people can just come out and chill with friends, eat some real Jamaican food, chat and "lyme" during the day then dance thier troubles away by nightfall" he continued. It will be a food inclusive event, however, patrons will have to buy the bar.
“There will be none of that 5 Star international, blaah blaaah blaahh... Summer CookOut is about that craving for Jerk Chicken, Jerk Pork, Barbeque Chicken, Curry Goat, Roast Yam, Breadfruit, Ackee and Saltfish, Roast Fish and Okra, Festival and Bammy and more of that homestyle Jamican food... all you can eat for $1,000 with invitation and $1,500 without" said an excited Dwayne Harris, promoter and marketing consultant. "We will also be having games like dominoes, dandy shandy, chinese skip, card games added with other adult games, a 12ft pool for cooling out and lots more activities to add to the daytime fun happenings", said the promoters "Jamaica's True Rude Brew, Kingston Pilsner Beer will be available to all patrons at no cost before 7:00pm, and we will be serving some of the best, Gungu peas, Pepperpot and Red peas soups you will ever taste, provided by the Linstead Market Jamaica Products brand" they added.
