Courtney John Joins Beres' US Tour

Reggae sensation Courtney John had been creating so many waves in the industry that his album Unselfish was featured on Rob Kenner's Boom Shots column of Vibe Magazine last November. The album was so superb that it earned him the attention of international press attention. The album topped the Jamaica Music Countdown charts for several weeks while his Baby Tonight single peaked at #1, and Sometimes peaked at #3 on the Jamaica Music Countdown charts. The singles have also popped up on the RETVand Stampede Street Vibes charts.
Courtney's tour with Beres began on Thursday, August 14 in Philadephia, Pennsylvania and will end on Friday, August 29 in Ontario, Canada". With the proliferation of ringtone-based tracks and drug-rap narratives in today's music scene, Courtney is a blast of fresh air. His chart-topping album, Unselfish built from the bluesy, rootsy organic materials that are the foundation of good reggae music. One reviewer wrote that “the sudden moments of unexpected beauty such as When You Say and sheer mischievous joy on Hey featuring Jovi Rockwell are welcome islands on a sea of love songs".In the meantime, Courtney John has a pair of hot new singles, Missing You which is on his own Fiwi Music label and a project with Lenky called Save Us All which is getting great airplay."The fans have definitely been responding well to the music and that shows great promise for the future," Courtney said.
