Buju's Jamrock Classics Gets Rave Reviews

Buju Banton Presents: Jamrock Classics Volume 1 has been receiving outstanding reviews from both Jamaican and international media outlets.
The compilation, which dropped earlier this summer on the Gargamel Music label, features an impressive lineup of artists, ranging from the Gargamel himself, Buju Banton, New Kidz, George Nooks, Jah Cure, Terror Fabulous and more. "Compilation comes at the right time when dancehall aficionados are hungry for the retro sound." -- Jamaica Observer
"(It) will appeal to a wide cross-section of music lovers because of its mix of popular rhythms, strong lyrics and the vocal ability of some new and not so new stars. The CD, produced by Mark 'Buju Banton' Myrie is of excellent technical quality and is expected to go far." -- Jamaica Gleaner
"The Gargamel's powerful lyrics on the song 'Cowboys' is reason enough to buy this disc. He and his flagship artist, New Kidz, ride the same riddim for 'Curfew,' and the results are just as impressive." -- Broward/Palm Beach New Times
"It's nostalgia at its best listening to the smooth voice of Pinchers on track number 3, 'Punk Me Out.'" --
Up next from Gargamel Music is Buju Banton Presents: Golden Tree EP. The lyrical heavyweights featured on this wicked digital throwback include Banton with "You Ago Happen," Delly Ranx with "Stamina" and New Kidz, who as always, kicks his own "Flava."
The EP is slated for release on digital platforms worldwide on August 19th (US & Canada) and August 25th (UK/EU/World).
